Spaghetti Sauce, Italian Slow Cooker - Aunt Jae

2 Ib. Italian sausage, or ground beef
3 medium onions, chopped
2 cups sliced mushrooms
6 cloves garlic finely chopped
2 (14 I/2 oz) cans tomatoes diced (un-drained)
1 (29 oz.) can  tomato juice
1  (12 oz.) can tomato paste
2 Tbsp. dried Basil Leaves
1 Tbsp. dried Oregano Leaves
1 Tbsp. sugar
I tsp. salt
1.i2 tsp, pepper
ll3 tsp. red pepper, crushed

Cook sausage onions, mushrooms and garlic in 72 inch skillet over medium
heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink,
drain.

Spoon sausage mixture into 5 quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining
ingredients.

Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to t hours or until vegetables are
tender. Makes 24 servings (1 1/2 cup each).
