Six Picky Chicks
Stewed Tomatoes on Toast - Grandma Ellen
1 quart tomatoes - canned
1 medium onion
1 Tbsp. butter.
6 slices toast, buttered
Sauté onion in 1 to 2 Tbs. butter. Add 1 quart bottled tomatoes.
Season with salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Serve on buttered toast.
