Sugar Cookies – Aunt Laurie

1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
8 ounces sour cream
6 ½ cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
¼ teaspoon salt

Cream sugar, shortening, sour cream and vanilla together.  Add flour mixture slowly.  Roll out on a floured surface and cut.

Bake at 425 degrees F. for 5-6 minutes.  Cool and frost
