¼ cup celery, diced
¼ cup onion, diced
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon pimento
2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
1 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
4 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon butter
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt butter in fry pan.
Sauté onions and celery until softened.
Add cream cheese and melt until smooth.
Add chicken, salt, pepper and pimento.
Mix well.
Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. (You can
us the smaller pieces and make more out of the dough.)
Spoon ½ cup mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of chicken
mixture, twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of sandwiches with 1 tablespoon
butter. You can sprinkle with crushed
croutons to garnish.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25-30 minutes until golden
brown.
