1 pound package Oreo cookies, crushed
½ cup butter, melted
½ gallon vanilla ice-cream
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
12 ounces evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
½ cup margarine
12 ounce frozen dairy
whipped topping
Mix together the cookies and melted butter or
margarine. Spread in the bottom of a 9x
13 inch pan to make cookie crust. Soften
vanilla ice-cream slightly, or slice and spread over the cookie crust. Put back in freezer.
Make chocolate sauce by melting the chocolate and
margarine into the canned milk and sugar.
Cook until it thickens. Cool
completely. Pour over vanilla ice-cream. Top with whip cream. Freeze.
