Chocolate Heaven – Aunt Robyn

Also known as “Next Best Thing to Robert Redford”, “Better than Sex” and “Chocolate Pudding Dessert” This can be made into a beautiful trifle.  You make the crust and cool it, then crumble it into the 1^st and 4^th layers.

Crust:

1 1/2 cup flour

1 1/2 cube margarine and

1 cup pecans, chopped

Mix ingredients and put in

Combine ingredients and cut together like a pie crust until they resemble course meal.  Press into a 9x13 

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Remove from oven and cool.

Cream Cheese Layer:

1 cup powdered sugar

8 ounces cream cheese softened

8 ounce whipped frozen dairy topping, thawed

Beat together sugar and cheese until fluffy.  Add ½ of the whipped topping.  Spread on cooled crust.

Pudding Layer:

1 (3 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding

1 (3ounce) package instant vanilla pudding (or chocolate)

(lemon and butterscotch puddings taste really wonderful also)

3 cups milk

Garnish with shaved Hershey Chocolate bar, chopped nuts, or chocolate syrup.

Make pudding according to package directions using 3 cups of milk.  Spread the pudding on the cream cheese layer.  Spread remaining whipped topping on pudding on the pudding layer. 

Chill several hours or overnight.
