Indian Fry Bread - Aunt Robyn

These are similar to scones, but are much quicker to make.  This recipe can be cut in half.

3 cups flour
4tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/3 cup warm water

Combine dry ingredients and then add water.  Mix with a fork.  Let stand for 5 minutes.  Turn onto a floured board.  Roll and cut into squares.  Poke a hole in the middle.  Deep fat fry until golden brown.
