Apricot Chicken - Aunt Cindra

8 ounces Russian salad dressing (I use Wishbone)
6 ounces apricot jam or preserves
1 package dry onion soup mix
8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Sliced almonds

Mix dressing, jam and soup together well.  Pour over chicken breasts in 9x13 inch pan.  Cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 5-6 hours.  During the last ½ hour sprinkle with sliced almonds on top.  Pineapple also works well on top if preparing a Hawaiian meal
